Miss. Vanessa Flores
Founder of Mr & Mrs Beauty
Vanessa Flores is a Los Angeles native with roots in Santa Monica. After graduating from Santa Monica High School, Vanessa was accepted into the beauty program at the professional school, Make-up Designory or M.U.D. There she focused on women’s beauty, men’s grooming as well as character, and special-effects make-up. Her versatile experience kept her in high-demand with jobs at cosmetic lines YSL, Bare Essentials, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Caudalie, Hourglass and Bobbi Brown. However, it was working in television that gave Vanessa the drive to turn her love of beauty into her career. As a freelance make-up artist with Fox Broadcasting Company, and 20th Century Fox Television, Vanessa’s clients included the likes of Jane Lynch, Dianna Agron, Kiefer Sutherland, Paula Abdul, Arrianna Huffington, Terrence Howard, Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera, Shemar Moore and Eliza Duscku to name a few. She also contributed to shows like “Glee,” “American Idol,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “New Girl,” “Dollhouse,” “Bones,” “Hell’s Kitchen” and most recently, “Empire.”
A true versatile beauty professional, Vanessa is a licensed aesthetician and founded Mr & Mrs Beauty in 2016. Catering to the greater Los Angeles area, Mr & Mrs Beauty is a mobile service that comes straight to your door for waxing, spray-tanning, and natural makeup looks. No need to leave the comforts of home, Vanessa will come straight to you.
" I strongly believe that receiving beauty treatments should not feel like an errand. For many making time for your beauty routine often falls to the bottom of the list when other demands creep in like work, family, community commitments. These are busy times for sure, but you deserve to look and feel your best while balancing it all." ~ Vanessa
Currently living in the South Bay, Vanessa loves to travel, is an avid Dodger fan, and considered herself a high-maintenance “beach bum.”
